She carries her brother’s shield – Long Soldier recollects the story that this cavalry soldier had married Moving Robe Woman’s sister and had been living with the Sioux. With the arrival of the cavalry at Little Bighorn, the soldier switched sides again and was targeted as a traitor. Daniel states soldier would had been protected from the army by the Sioux had he remained loyal.
